LAUREN CONRAD: Hey, Whit. Thanks so much for coming out to support my new Kohl's line.
WHITNEY PORT: My pleasure!
LAUREN: And just in case anyone is wondering, nothing you are wearing comes from my line.
WHITNEY: What was that?
LAUREN: Oh, NOTHING! Nothing. Shall we get a better look at your outfit, that I didn't have anything to do with? That you didn't even call or text me about?
WHITNEY: You're acting so weird, Lauren. Do you need me to ask you open-ended questions and look concerned about something on camera?
LAUREN: No, no! Thank God, I do not. However, I would love it if you would reiterate here, in this public forum, in front of all these men and women of the press, that I had no hand in your leather high-waisted shorts, nor in your cropped knit sweater, that they have no place in the Lauren Conrad design aesthetic and that if people are wondering if I designed this, endorse it, or in anyway plan to emulate it, that the answer is NOOOOO. No, no, no no no. Also, if you could sign this affidavit legally releasing me from any responsibility for tonight's look?
WHITNEY: Huh?
LAUREN: Never mind.
