Fug or Fab or Unfug: Freida Pinto

Well, from the neck up Freida Pinto is as gorgeous as ever.

From the neck down, I'm less sure. I love the shoes. And the bag. And the fouffiness of the skirt ("fouffiness" being a technical fashion term). It makes me want to twirl around. But I kind of wish the under-dress were black, too, because something about the beige reminds me of Spanx. And Spanx reminds me of being unable to breathe. And then I start to hyperventilate and I want to lie down.

What do you think? Tell me while I look for my inhaler.

I love Freida Pinto. I think she is so pretty. Today would be so much more delicious if I were Freida Pinto, running around Paris and looking at myself in the mirror and brushing my pretty shiny hair. Although....would I have to be wearing THIS?

The color? Divine. The skirt? Shall we call it...intriguing? I must admit that I rather want to touch it. At least it's tactile-y....fascinating, rather like an adorable and complex high-end loofah. Her shoes? Be-spatted, or covered in little wine-bottle gift bags? Her bag? An afterthought, yes? Her face? Gorgeous. At least she's got that.

Fug or Fab: Freida Pinto

When I saw this photo of Freida Pinto, I thought, "Oh, dear. OH DEAR." Because I was not sure at all I would like where this is going:

Freida Pinto seems so low-key and charming, and SO above showing up somewhere in a dress that's a glorified bra connected to a skirt by a zipper on a sheer overlay. That feels like famewhore behavior, and she seems the exact opposite of that. Like, to the point where if Fame came up to her and offered her a really cheap rate on an erotic massage, I seriously think Freida would be like, "Nah, I'm just going to go home and watch Big Brother and wonder why the wardrobe people still manage to make Julie Chen look like she shops at Talbots For Seniors even though she's pregnant." Okay, maybe I'm projecting, but you get the gist.
